This position would be responsible for supporting the sales department sourcing and procuring for our customers. Purchasing Duties
Sourcing material and product needed based on a multiple variable analysis.
Aggressive negotiating for lowest prices with vendors.
Administering online purchasing systems.
Placing orders & confirming receipt, and expedite as needed.
Communicating customer requirements effectively with vendors.
Ensuring all data is entered into software system correct.
Assisting with Return Authorization Management.
Communicating internally and externally with accounting and shipping departments, regarding invoicing, incoming shipments, and payment terms.
Communicating with Quality Control regarding product specs, traceability, and specific product info on all customer requirements.
Communicating with Sales personal regarding customer requirements, suggesting quote prices based on market analysis and specifics of orders once placed.
Setting up terms and managing escrow accounts with new vendors.
Ensure that all Purchasing transactions are conducted ethically.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
