1 RN (prefer 2) 1“2 psych techs Low-violence environment , but behavioral issues possible Security crisis (Code White) team available 24/7 Requirements COVID vaccine boosters required (medical exemptions only with documentation) Certifications:
BLS (crisis training during orientation)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years Strong residential rehab experience preferred Skills:
IV therapy experience (required) Strong communication with multidisciplinary teams Comfortable with ambulatory psych/addiction population Job Duties Admissions (no overnight admits) Medication administration (patients come to nurse) Assessments Group sessions (focus on medication education) Collaboration with care team Occasional assistance with meals Patient Population Indigent population Co-occurring mental health substance use disorders Common conditions:
Depression, schizophrenia, personality disorders Substance abuse (IV drug use common) Some medically complex detox patients Closest ER is 2 hours away ’ call 911 for emergencies Facility provides BLS only Units Breakdown OAK1:
Long-term psych (55, depression, schizophrenia) PC1:
Acute psych addiction (72-hour holds, detox from jail/community) D2E:
Detox (IV treatments, PICC lines, Suboxone/methadone) D2W:
Detox with more medical needs (diabetes, wound care, CPAP) CTW:
